FATHER & SON SPECIAL-CAYO LARGO, CUBA

In doing our best to keep you all abreast of any existing specials, we wanted to alert you to another for Cayo Largo, a beautiful island fishing location off Cuba's southern coast. This is for a Father and Son combination, and pricing comes in very affordable. Cayo Largo is one of the most expensive destinations in Cuba, and also one of the best. Many guests go just because the beaches are so incredible, and the accommodations so luxurious. Guests will stay at the Sol Club Cayo Largo, which is an all-inclusive resort, packed with amenities.

As for the fishing, Cayo Largo is noted for having expansive Bonefish flats, and even bigger habitat for Permit. The Bonefish here average larger than normal, with many fish caught in the 5-7 pound range. You can wade, or fish from the boat while stalking them. The Permit areas are to the north of the island, and are massive. Many of the Permit here are found in the company of Rays, and so are easier to spot, and often more willing to grab a fly. Tarpon also show up around Cayo Largo in the Spring, and will often stay until late Summer, depending upon water conditions and temperature.
